Sisters, Seagulls and Send Offs

A moving exploration of grief, loss and the importance of talking about death. (50 minutes)

Inspired by real-life experiences, Sisters, Seagulls and Send Offs explores the emotional realities of death, dying and bereavement through the story of two sisters as they navigate loss, family relationships and the many different ways people experience and express grief.

Balancing humour with honesty, the performance encourages audiences to reflect on the importance of open conversations, advance care planning and compassionate support. By exploring the barriers that often prevent us from talking about death and dying, it creates a safe and engaging space to consider one of life’s most universal yet challenging experiences.
